Join California Black Media September 12th

Join California Black Media on September 12, 2009 as we debut California's first Online Directory of Black Elected Officials in the State of California.  The directory offers a comprehensive listing of Black Elected Officials currently serving in the State of California from congressional representatives, state legislators, county officials, mayors, city council members and school board members positioned within California’s 58 counties.  In partnership with the Research and Policy Institute of California, the California Black Media will the debut the directory on Saturday, September 12, 2009 at the Marriott Airport Ontario, 2200 East Holt Boulevard Ontario, Ca 91761 from 4pm-6pm.  They will host two receptions for the elected officials, one reception in Southern California and another reception in Northern California. The Southern California reception will be hosted by Mayor Walt Allen, City of Covina and the Coalition of California Black School Board Members.  Special remarks will be given by Timothy Alan Simon, California Public Utilities Commissioner, Tommy Ross, President, Research and Policy Institute of California and Virniecia Davis, President, Coalition of California Black School Board Members.  The event is proudly sponsored by AT&T, Siebert Brandford Shank, & Co.,LLC and Research & Policy Institute of California  You may rsvp by emailing This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
